New Zealand South Island! - November

Hi Everyone! It’s going to be a long one today…I hope this finds you all well. I’m writing this in a hostel in Wellington two weeks into the month-long trip! The first 2 weeks of the November went by very fast. Exams lasted from the 2 nd November to the 12 th so I just spent those days studying a lot! We did watch the rugby world cup as a revision break (what happened England?) in an English pub with a group of English friends and I dragged my American friend Antoine along which was a laugh. I then had four days before my flight to Christchurch where I packed and spent as much time with friends as possible before I said goodbye to them. My friend’s girlfriend flew out from England and the three of us along with my other English friend, Katie, and Antoine cooked a huge goodbye roast dinner for 13 people, complete with a Yule log as we won’t see each other at Christmas! Studying - October

Hi Everyone! I hope that October treated you all well. I'm afraid this is going to be a much shorter blog post as I have the first of my exams tomorrow so have been working hard revising for that which hasn't left me much time.  This month has been a struggle of balancing university and my social life.  I obviously know that I have to do well in exams and that's very important to me but it's also the last time that I will see some people I've become very fond of for possibly years, which is sad.  So the second part of this month has consisted of revising and seeing people when I have a chance. With the rugby World Cup we have got into a nice routine of having taco night (which I like to think we've now perfected) and watching the rugby!
